Two weeks at Bora Bora all inclusive

Bora Bora is expanding it’s international activities. Right now we are participating in the European network project DNA – Development of New Art. The first Danish contribution is the execution of artists in residency – a two weeks stay at our house for a selected group to do a project of their own choice. We have received 24 competent applications and are looking forward to a residency project with interesting artistic results.

Residency with all expenses paid
January 9th-22nd Bora Bora will host a group of performers. We invite all professional performers with a specific project and a need for production space and concept development to apply – the only requirement is that you have a connection to one or more DNA countries. The deadline for applications was November 4th 2011. Please read the call for artists: Residency, DK, Bora Bora Jan 2012 and download the Application form, call jan. 2012.

All the DNA countries will launch a series of exiting events aimed at professional performance artists, and we will publish all ongoing Call for artists at the project’s page DNA.

New European art on the move
The DNA network consists of theatres/production houses/art associations from 8 European countries: Czech Republique, Hungary, Slovenia, Germany, Poland, Slovakia, Lithuania and Bora Bora in Denmark. The network aims to create the frames for exchange of artists, art pieces, intercultural competences, and promote new artistic works and networks. Concretely we exchange artists in between the countries at festivals, workshops and residencies – all in all more than 25 events.
