Junge Hunde Festival
The Junge Hunde Network is based on 15 of Europe’s most progressive theatre houses. The objectives of the network are to help and nourish young emerging artists from the alternative performing arts, to develop talent, and to create a platform for the new generation of artists, nationally and internationally.Through the 15 years the Junge Hunde Network has existed, many initiatives have been made, such as festivals, artists in residence and exchange programs. In Denmark, we have been arranging Junge Hunde festivals since 2001 - the last few years intenselyfocusing on international networking and creative feedback. We see these focus points as the fundamental basis for young and independent artists. The feedback of the audience, for example, other than just applauses is a very necessary part of the youngartists’ learning process.
The next Junge Hunde festival is taking place in Aarhus, November 2010. Deadline for application is 15th of Feburary 2010. Check out the website www.jungehunde.dk for information on previous festivals in Denmark, and www.entrescenen.dk/jungehunde for application information.JUNGE HUNDE 09
